lena-dianellos:

When Blythe said she didn’t want her to feel like she had to do things it took her by surprise and Lena furrowed her brows lightly. She definitely didn’t intend to ask because she thought she was supposed to, or felt obliged to. She’d done it out of politeness. But, apparently, here it mattered who you were just as much as it did in the real world. Despite the fact the two would be equals as classmates it seemed that Lena would still find herself ‘under’ Blythe.

For now, she thought smugly as she watched Blythe just drop the things so casually on the bed and scurry out again. Was this girl always on the move?

“I’m more of a swimmer, myself. If I try to paint it looks like that of a small child’s,” she joked, letting out a small laugh at herself.

“Lunch?” Lena paused, looked around to see if Nick had came to find her yet but he wasn’t anywhere in sight. “Sure, why not.”

Blythe gave a small giggle at Milena’s remark about her art.

“I’m sure that it’s not that bad,” she said casually, “I’m sure it’s much better than my brother’s art. His art is much too ……. Let’s just say different.”

She remembered when Vachel had once seen her in one of the more hidden rooms in the castle that they liked to spend most of their time in. Blythe had been trying to hide from her father, as he did not condone her interested in arts. She had originally wanted to practice an instrument, but that would obviously draw too much attention to her.  And since the room had no windows she had no landscape to paint she had decided to paint a vase full of flowers on the table that was in front of her. Her brother had walked in and jokingly threatened to tell their parents until she painted something more ‘contemporary’. He had proceeded to take the art supplies from her and painted on the wall, what was apparently supposed to be a fish being eaten by a shark. Though, to Blythe, it looked like a giant blob of black with a ring of blue.

She smiled at the memory as they rounded to corner that led to the cafeteria.  The food in the cafeteria was actually pretty good. It has to be good, she thought, they’re feeding royals.

Quickly she turned to Milena and asked, “Are you and your brother close?”

She didn’t mean to intrude at all, but Blythe was always curious with the sibling relationships other people had.

The snow is one I would consider as a friend. I love to ski and such along those lines.

Cathedrals? That sounds delightful! Now I must arrange to go to Russia one day. I do love history.

Does Russi have much art? I am rather fond of the Arts. I love to visit places like Spain, Englad and Italy…

Yes, winter sports are rather exciting. I find they are more exciting than summer sports, though my parents do not condone much of it. After all, things like luge are rather dangerous.

Oh, of course! How could I have let that slip my mind? Especially since those ballets are very famous! Oh, I do love art. I like to see the many different art styles and take them all into account.

I do believe all of the media attention my country has been getting is all very good! Oh, Russia does have a rather interesting history. I do love learning about it, especially the leaders. But more so on the lines of Stalin or Lenin. Armenia’s history is rather unknown to most of the world.

The snow and ice aren’t anything I mind at all. And nature is very inviting. Are there much historical buldings littered throughout the country?

I do love my country. The weather does get rather chilly, but probably not as cold as Russia. There is much nature as well in Armenia. Though, the…

Oh, that would be so lovely! I am always tryingto have more people become more interested in my country. Since, of course, it hasn’t gotten much attention until recently.

Hmm, you have peaked my interest. I would love to see more of the landscapes of your homeland. I hear there is a lot of nature there, unless of course I am mistaken and mixing up my geography.

I am from Armenia.

No, you are correct. There is a lot of nature in Russia. At least the parts that aren’t covered by a thick layer of snow and ice.

I’ve never been to Armenia. What’s it like there?

Outspoken isn’t always too bad. Well, when used in a certain time and place.

Hmm, I do remember going to Russia. Though it was barely even a day and I hadn’t been able to see the artchitecture there. But what I saw was rather nice. Is it nice there, Christian? I would like to go back for a much…

I find it rather strange for one of your type to be here at a school like this. What brings you here?

Because I’m a Page? My king thought I would benefit from studying here, so here I am. He also instructed me to take the Peacemaking class, so I…
